I want my ex back now. How did the breakup with your ex affect you? If you are like most people going through this you must have felt very angry, upset and feeling very bad. All of a sudden you feel yourself standing all alone in a strange place, even though you have lived there for quite some time. Your house is not the same without your ex and you wonder if you can convince your ex to come back some day. How permanent is this? Is there anything I can do to make this happen and how can I approach this? There are too many questions and no clear idea what to do next. Well, there is hope and in most circumstances it is possible to get your ex back as long as you go about it the right way. First off, you will need to realize that you are not the first one to go through this experience. Especially in our fast moving, multi-tasking society, growing apart can happen. Take some quality time out and focus on the ideals that are important to you. Sit down and make a list of all the positive and negative things things and feelings you have experienced and what brought your relationship to this point. After you have made this balance sheet do something daring and also make a list of the positives and negatives your ex must have been experiencing. Then compare both lists and see where a change can be made to make life better for both of you. Is the mental cost of the changes you will have to make acceptable and worth the effort. After all, if you were in a mentally or physically abused relationship there should be no reason to get back for more. If that was the case, count your blessings and go on but if you are convinced that you can make this work again it is time to start planning. Yes, planning because the road to reconciliation is not without its problems. Coming on too strong and pushing hard can turn the ex off and will lead to guaranteed failure.
